...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM MST /NOON MDT/ TO 7 PM MST /8 PM MDT/ MONDAY DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE LITTLE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY AND NORTHEAST PLATEAUS... The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Red Flag Warning due to strong winds and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM MST /noon MDT/ to 7 PM MST /8 PM MDT/ Monday. * AFFECTED AREA...Locations near Dilkon, Holbrook, Kykotsmovi, Snowflake-Taylor, Tuba City and Winslow. * WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop or are ongoing will have the potential to spread rapidly. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring or are imminent.
